Built in 1886, Gray's Avenue, has served as a Hotel, a boarding house, apartment building, a lodge, and private residence. In 1984 the Gray's converted it to Manitou's First Bed and Breakfast.

It is a wonderful 7-room historic turn of the century Queen Ann in the heart of Manitou Spring Historical District. All of our rooms have private bathroom most with claw foot tub and shower. All guest rooms are on the second and third floors. There are four rooms and three suites. The rooms feature various sizes from twin to king plus dressers, comfy chairs, some window seats and lots of artwork.

A delicious breakfast is served daily. We have a Jacuzzi in the back garden, spa services available and many restaurants, shops and art galleries are in walking distance. All this makes for a memorable stay.

Located in the Colorado Rocky Mountain foothill region of Pikes Peak, Home of Pikes Peak Cog Railway and Pikes Peak Highway, just 4 miles west of Colorado Springs Colorado.

The first floor houses the dining room, formal living room, library-family room with guest telephone & data port- there are no phones in guest rooms- TV-VCR-DVD, movies, fireplace and foyer. A large front porch overlooks Manitou Avenue. In the back yard there is a Jacuzzi in our wild flower garden for your relaxing pleasure.

We also offer a great space for small weddings, commitment ceremonies, receptions or a site for seminars, retreats and classes.

En Lak'ech is a Mayan greeting meaning you and I are one and the same ? It is our goal and intention to welcome all those in the mindset of this philosophy. To enjoy the experience of this magnificent part of the world called Manitou Springs; to celebrate its rich history and learn from the nature surrounding. We extend our home, our hearts and all that it has to offer. Namaste'

Manitou Springs - Legend has it that the Ute Indian tribes from the mountains met the Arapaho and other Plains tribes in peace to worship the god that breathed into the waters to create the natural effervescence of the springs and give them curative powers. This Great Spirit is called Manitou in Alonquin Manitou Springs is a wonderful artistic culturally diverse community rich in Indian culture. It has been called the Saratoga of the west and there is so much to do, Hiking, Biking, Pikes Peak Cog Rail, Pikes Peak Hwy. Cave of the Winds, ancient Cliff Dwellings, 7 Falls, Air Force Academy and one of my favorites, Garden Of The Gods, just to mention a few.
