Located in St. Augustine Antiqua, the restored historic district of the nation's oldest city, the St. Francis Inn Bed & Breakfast is rich in Old World charm and modern comforts.

Visitors today find echoes of our colorful past in the tranquil ambiance of the St. Francis Inn's enclosed courtyard, at the entrance to our reception room. A fountained pond, fed from an artesian well at St. Augustines' historic 'Oldest House', is surrounded by lush banana trees, bougainvillea and other tropical flowers.

From the reception room through the hallway arch, guests help themselves to iced tea, inn-blend coffee and water, and always-available homemade pastries. The quaint nooks and crannies of our eclectic interior create a cozy, homey feeling in our comfortable common areas. From the upstairs hall, all guests may exit the house to the upstairs balcony.

Accommodations...


Each room or suite at St. Francis Inn is unique. All have private baths, antiques or reproduction furniture, central heat and air-conditioning, telephones, queen- or king-sized beds, and color cable TV.

Several have fireplaces, kitchenettes, and spacious whirlpool tubs. Many rooms also have a refrigerator. Our suites have queen-sized sleeper sofas in the sitting rooms. Our cottage is ideal for a family or for two couples.

Breakfast... a buffet breakfast at either of our two historic Inns, always including two hot homemade entrees, freshly baked pastries and breads, fresh fruit, special blend Inn coffees and assorted teas, fresh juices, granola, cereals, yogurt, and a full serving of Inn hospitality.

Evening Social Hour ... a delightful opportunity to meet other guests and share stories about your visit, over a glass of wine or beer and a great selection of tasty treats. For your pleasure, we serve complimentary beverages and tasty treats such as shrimp dip & crackers, veggies & dill dip, sausage balls & egg salad, crab dip, and spinach dip and Hawaiian bread.

The Inn has a swimming pool and provides complimentary bicycles for touring historic downtown Saint Augustine.

Use of the Common Areas of our two historic Sister InnsSt. Francis Inn Bed & Breakfast and Casa de Solana Bed & Breakfast...from the tropical flower gardens, to the porch rocking chairs, and beautiful walled courtyards at both Inns.
